Donezo and I have been taking our time travelling through Othard recently. Between his usual grumbling about the travel distances, he actually pointed something out that caught me off guard: my gear was starting to look a little worse for wear. I had to admit, he had a point.
So, while we’ve been on the road, I decided to play around with some new styles. And while I was putting together a rather nice new set of gear, I figured... why stop there? I have kept my hair long and black for as long as I can remember, but I decided to take the plunge and chop it short. I even added some blonde and white highlights just for the fun of it.
I have to admit, it feels incredibly freeing! I might let it grow out again eventually, but for now, I am really enjoying the change. I even managed to get Donezo to admit it looks good—a compliment so rare I practically had to write it down here just to prove it happened.
Honestly, looking in the mirror today just brought a flood of memories rushing back. So much has happened since we first arrived in Limsa Lominsa, and I had almost forgotten how much Donezo and I have changed along the way. It made me want to revisit those early days and finally write them down before they are lost to the river of time. Keep an eye out for those soon!
P.S. I am still tinkering with a few other outfits, so expect another update once I’ve settled on a final look!
